Recon Drones

With the success of the Tin Men, The Council were given the go ahead to begin production of many more mechanical soldiers. Before the events outside of Magmanon, in which the Council unleashed the Tin Men and averted the complete annihilation of the Coalition in the North, the creation of such things was seen as abominable by the Coalition as a whole. For many years the Council had worked in secrecy creating their machines, narrowly avoiding imprisonment or execution. They schemed in the lower, less habitable sections of the massive cities and spoke only in whispers in order to hide their endeavors. After the Civil war, which saw the Council triumph over the Primarshal’s Coalition, the need for control, secrecy and restraint ended. With their dominion over their new Confederation they set out into new experiments and theories. Within the cities the pace of life and the very way of existing changed almost overnight. Everyone was now forced to accept the new rule or face death, accept cybernetics and A.I as the norm or be exiled from the cities. Those who showed promise and obedience were quickly inaugurated into the Council secret service, implanted with surveillance devices and powerful concealed weapons. They would be the eyes and ears of the Council and report any issues with those under their rule. Recon drones, along with the Convict Drones were the children of I, self proclaimed Head of Law and Order within the Confederation. They would quickly reach areas before the approaching Tin-Men and relay vital information back to be analyzed and incorporated into any battle plan. Armed with a short range but powerful version of the Hellbore Rifle they would also prove to be fast hitting Infantry. All the drones needed to function was a decent, fast acting CPU. I decided that a brain would suffice, taken straight from the heads of any criminals deemed compliant enough, with or without their permission.
