The Confederation

Arsenal

After the carnage of the Civil War, Tin Men replaced the vast numbers of those killed in the conflict against the Asylumists. Although the Confederation would no longer see the unfathomable numbers of Horde spilling over the land as they had done previously, many massive waves would still clash with them time and time again bringing the horrors of the past back into view. Flesh and blood soldiers would still take to the battlefields in mighty suits of metal but against the ever present dangers posed by the Asylumists, Dark Blade and other rising forces it would be impossible to win a war of attrition and casualties would quickly become unsustainable without the mechanization of the Confederation forces. Alongside the Tin-Men came the Attack Squad, Wire Men and the Arsenal. The Arsenal was designed as a small, mobile weapons platform that trailed the columns of Tin Men, laying down fire and providing support where needed. Although it carries a large ammount of firepower it is surprisingly fast and can traverse the battered landscape with relative ease. Its Skyshatter Lances are designed to punch holes in enemy armor and are able to pose a threat even to enemies that are cowering behind fortifictions. Later, the Arsenal would be outfitted with armamants to suit the ever changing theatre of war and many varriations sprang up to deal with other threat like the Host and Biocite Expance. These would bring plasma and radiation weapons to the organic monstrousities to burn and disintergrate their filth from the planet.
