About the miniature
Death Shredders are specialised Death Squad soldiers created and equipped within the factories of the Blood Engines. Originally deployed to clear the Horde from ruins marked for exploration and salvage, they serve as patient sentries and ruthless executioners for their masters.
Their namesake Shredders unleash high-energy particle beams at terrifying speed, tearing flesh and machinery apart into piles of mucus and metal. Rather than racing across the battlefield, Death Shredders lie in wait among darkened ruins, watching for movement and preparing to obliterate anything that enters their sights.

On the battlefield
Death Shredders are long-range fire-support specialists designed to dominate open ground from a protected firing position. Place them where they can watch an important approach, punish advancing enemies and break up groups before they reach the rest of your force.
They work particularly well behind the Horde. While the massed Asylumists hold enemies in place, the Shredders can pour fire into the struggle with little concern for who is caught in the barrage. Keep them protected, choose their position carefully and let the enemy come to them.
