About the miniature
The Twisted Horde are nightmarish creations fashioned within the strongholds of the Asylumist Blood Engines. Several mutilated bodies are grafted together into each unnatural form, leaving behind creatures driven by a singular desire to kill.
Armed with bloodied blades and technology derived from the Death Squads, the Twisted Horde dart between the greater Horde masses before hurling themselves at their victims. Their altered bodies can withstand terrible punishment as they eviscerate anything caught within reach.

On the battlefield
The Twisted Horde are fast and tenacious close-combat attackers designed to surge ahead of the Asylumist masses and overwhelm exposed enemies. Use them to threaten vulnerable units, exploit openings and add sudden bursts of violence wherever the fighting is fiercest.
They are most effective when advancing within the surrounding Horde, which can conceal their approach and keep the enemy occupied. Once an opportunity appears, send the Twisted Horde forward to tear into an important target or prevent it from escaping the wider Asylumist advance.
