Arsenal

After the carnage of the Civil War, Tin Men replaced the vast numbers of soldiers killed during the conflict against the Asylumists. Although the Confederation would never again face the unfathomable Hordes that had once spilled across the land, immense waves of enemies would continue to clash with its forces time and again, bringing the horrors of the past back into view.

Flesh-and-blood soldiers still took to the battlefield in mighty suits of metal, but against the ever-present dangers posed by the Asylumists, the Dark Blade and other rising powers, the Confederation could not hope to win a war of attrition. Without the mechanisation of its forces, casualties would quickly become unsustainable.

Alongside the Tin Men came the Attack Squads, Wire Men and Arsenals. The Arsenal was designed as a compact, mobile weapons platform that trailed columns of Tin Men, laying down heavy fire and providing support wherever it was needed. Despite carrying a formidable array of weaponry, it is surprisingly fast and able to traverse the battered landscape with relative ease.

Its Skyshatter Lances are designed to punch through enemy armour, allowing the Arsenal to threaten even those opponents cowering behind heavy fortifications. As the theatres of war continued to change, Arsenals were outfitted with specialised armaments, and numerous variants emerged to counter threats such as the Host and the BioSite Expanse. Armed with plasma and radiation weapons, these machines could burn through organic monstrosities and disintegrate their filth, cleansing it from the face of the planet.
