Tin Men Mk 2 Linebreakers

Tin-Men Linebreakers began, as most Confederation units do, as an experiment. The Tin-Men were proving decisive against many enemies but they had flaws. Early A.I rendered them increasingly specialist and unable to switch tactics automatically. Today this is not an issue as the Council is able to upload and alter their specifications and tactics almost instantaneously, but before the civil war, more variations of Tin-Men were needed to fill the gaps. The Linebreakers were adept at dealing with the Death squads of the Asylumists that had so far devastated regular Tin-Men. The greater range of the Hellbore Drive Canon allowed them to hit their targets long before any fire could come their way. Combined with the addition of a under slung Hellbore assault rifle, if the Horde got too close, the Linebreakers did what their namesake suggested. Unfortunately, such massive power output does effect the Tin-Mens shielding making them somewhat more vulnerable at close ranges and the absence of any close quarters weapon also has its drawbacks. Needless to say when combined with their brothers, they can lay waste to any target that crosses their path.
