Timing Rule
After a command has fully resolved, check the battlefield for opposing models within 1" or otherwise legally engaged by a rule.
If opposing models are within 1" or otherwise legally engaged, resolve each eligible close combat or melee interaction immediately unless another rule explicitly states otherwise.
This is an intended global post-command melee attrition rule. Existing melees are eligible to resolve after each command resolution if opposing models remain within 1" or otherwise legally engaged.
Scope
This timing check applies globally after command resolution, not only to the unit that resolved the command.
Multiple separate combats resolve separately, one after another.
When this timing check requires eligible melees to resolve, continue resolving eligible melees one after another until all are done.
Melee may occur multiple times per turn if repeated command resolutions leave opposing models within 1" or otherwise legally engaged.
