Core Rule

A unit becomes Stunned if it suffers damage greater than its Resolve from a single source while carrying out a command.

Carrying Out A Command

A unit is carrying out a command from the time that command is declared until that command is complete.

A command declared in response to another command or event is still a command.

earlier rules may call this a reaction. Treat that as a command declared in response.

Effect

When a unit becomes Stunned:

  • it immediately gains the Shoot restriction
  • it immediately gains the Run restriction
  • it immediately gains the Defend restriction

Duration

Stun restrictions are removed at the end of the turn unless another rule explicitly states otherwise.

Command Interaction

A Stunned unit cannot declare Rally until the stun effect ends.

Damage Requirement

Only damage from a single source is checked for Stunned.

Do not combine damage from separate sources unless a rule explicitly states otherwise.

Notes

  • Stunned is a core status caused by damage, but it is not part of the general damage engine.
  • If a rule modifies when Stunned is applied or removed, that rule must state so explicitly.
