When a model with Armageddon resolves a Shoot command, it may attempt to fire additional weapons.

Before resolving shots, choose each additional weapon the model will attempt to fire and make one Resolve test for each chosen weapon. Each Resolve test allows one additional weapon to be fired.

If the Resolve test succeeds, resolve that additional weapon normally as part of the same Shoot command.

If the Resolve test fails:

  • The firing model suffers 1 damage before that additional weapon is fired.
  • If that damage destroys the firing model, remove the model before it fires that additional weapon.
  • If the firing model is not destroyed, resolve that additional weapon using Snap Fire rules.

A failed Armageddon test does not declare a Snap Fire command and does not apply Snap Fire command tokens or restrictions.

Damage from a failed Armageddon test is applied to the firing model. If it does not remove the model, it becomes Sustained Damage as normal.
