How Mechanized works

Mechanized is a Confederation army-package special rule.

A unit with Mechanized cannot benefit from Cover. If a rule, command, terrain feature, or battlefield position would grant this unit Cover, ignore that Cover benefit unless another rule explicitly overrides Mechanized.

A unit with Mechanized ignores Stunned.

Mechanized durability is represented by the unit's printed or approved Resolve and HP values. This rule does not add an extra Resolve or HP modifier unless the unit profile or another rule explicitly says so.

When an enemy unit makes Target Lock rolls against a unit with Mechanized, that enemy unit must re-roll any Target Lock rolls of 1 once.

The re-rolled results stand unless another rule explicitly allows or requires another re-roll.

Mechanized does not change range, target legality, Line of Sight, damage, damage allocation, or removal timing unless another rule explicitly states otherwise.

Example

A unit or weapon with Mechanized meets the rule's stated condition. A unit with Mechanized cannot benefit from Cover. If a rule, command, terrain feature, or battlefield position would grant this unit Cover, ignore that Cover benefit unless another rule explicitly overrides Mechanized. Once those steps are complete, play continues normally.
