When a unit with Marked generates successful Target Locks against an enemy unit, the attacking player places one Marked token on that enemy unit for each successful Target Lock, to a maximum of 6 Marked tokens owned by that player on that unit.

Marked tokens are owned by the player who placed them. Multiple sources can place Marked tokens on the same enemy unit, subject to that player's maximum of 6 Marked tokens on that unit.

During target selection for a friendly ranged attack, that player may use their Marked tokens on the target to increase the attacking weapon's Range by +1 inch for each Marked token used. Pre-measuring is allowed for this target selection.

Remove the used Marked tokens before resolving the attack that used the increased Range value.

Any friendly unit can use its player's Marked tokens for a ranged attack.

If a friendly unit with Marked uses Marked tokens to increase Range and that attack causes any damage to the target, reapply the removed Marked tokens to that target, up to that player's maximum of 6 Marked tokens on that unit. This includes damage that becomes Sustained Damage or causes model removal.
