About the miniature
Gore Worms are fast-moving Host organisms formed for consumption, infiltration and the reclamation of biological matter. Travelling in writhing broods, they tunnel through soft earth, ruins and corpse fields before erupting beneath their prey.
Built entirely from repurposed flesh, muscle and bone, each Gore Worm is driven by the simple need to feed. Their dripping maws can bite through victims or project corrosive biological matter, allowing the brood to harvest the fallen and carry fresh material back into the wider Host cycle.

On the battlefield
Gore Worms are fast assault creatures designed to approach beneath the battlefield and emerge close to vulnerable prey. Use them to bypass predictable routes, threaten isolated units and force the enemy to protect areas it believed were safe.
They are particularly effective alongside a Brood Flayer, whose dominant presence turns the writhing brood into a coordinated hunting pack. Send the Worms after weakened or exposed enemies, surround their escape routes and allow the rest of the Host to close in.
Voidsiege
