Special Rules
Corrosive
The Force of a weapon with Corrosive equals the number of successful Target Locks generated by that attack, to a maximum of Force 6.
How Corrosive works
The Force of a weapon with Corrosive equals the number of successful Target Locks generated by that attack, to a maximum of Force 6.
Corrosive keys off successful Target Locks, not the number of affected models. If another rule causes additional models to be affected without generating additional successful Target Locks, those additional models do not increase Corrosive Force.
Corrosive changes the attack's Force. It does not change Target Limit, damage allocation, Sustained Damage, Critical Damage, or model removal timing unless another rule explicitly states otherwise.
Example
A unit or weapon with Corrosive meets the rule's stated condition. The Force of a weapon with Corrosive equals the number of successful Target Locks generated by that attack, to a maximum of Force 6. Once those steps are complete, play continues normally.
