Imperfect Host

Imperfect Host creates Host tokens when models in the unit die. The unit can spend one of those tokens to reduce incoming damage by one model's HP value.

Last updated 17 August 2026

How Imperfect Host works

When a model in this unit dies, place a Host token next to it (max 6 tokens for the unit).

If this unit has any Host tokens when it takes damage, you may spend 1 token to negate some of that damage. Negate an amount of damage equal to the HP of a single model in this unit.

> Example: The unit (models have 2 HP each) has 3 Host tokens and takes 4 damage. Spending one token negates 2 damage (since each model has 2 HP), reducing the damage to 2.
