Core Rule
During deployment, instead of placing this unit on the battlefield, place an Infiltrate marker for it at the controlling player's table edge.
While the unit is represented by its Infiltrate marker:
- the unit is not on the battlefield
- the unit cannot issue commands
- the unit cannot be targeted
- the marker is not a model and does not block movement, line of sight, or create engagement
- aura or proximity effects generated by the unit are measured from the marker unless the effect requires the unit to be on the battlefield
On one of the controlling player's activations, if the unit is still represented by its Infiltrate marker, the controlling player may move the marker directly forward from their table edge up to the unit's Move value.
On a later activation, the controlling player may place the unit on the battlefield wholly within the distance between the marker's current position and that player's table edge. After the unit is placed, it immediately takes its activation normally.
Notes
- Infiltrate changes setup and entry timing only.
- Infiltrate does not change normal command rules after the unit is placed on the battlefield.
