Understanding Threat Levels in VoidSiege
Threat Levels define a unit’s battlefield impact. They help you build smarter lists, anticipate matchups, and plan better reactions. But they’re not just about stats—they’re about performance under pressure.
Threat 1 Units: Reliable, Efficient, Replaceable
These are the workhorses of VoidSiege. They’re fast, cheap, or specialized—but not designed to win battles alone.
Examples:
- Convict Drones
- Horde (5-model)
- Twisted Horde (3-model)
- Recon Drones
- Redeemers
- Death Squad Shredders
Threat 2 Units: Game-Changers
To be classified as Threat 2, a unit must:
- Defeat two Threat 1 units (in sequence or simultaneously)
- Survive meaningfully afterward
- Resist being countered purely through reactions
- Force the enemy to overcommit or mis-sequence to stop it
Examples:
- Tin Men Mk 2
- Sparkies
- Death Squad (2 HP version)
- Death Head (Resolve 5 + Stealth)
- Death Spider (Resolve 5 + Stealth)
- Provictus
These units shift the flow of the game. You can’t just ignore them—you must answer them.
Why This Matters
Understanding Threat Levels helps:
- Avoid over-investing in weak units
- Spot which enemies demand your attention
- Make smarter trades and reactions
