Core Rule
Vehicles resolve melee like infantry unless this file or another vehicle rule explicitly states otherwise.
Defensive Value
When a vehicle resolves melee, use the vehicle's modified Shield instead of Resolve.
Moving Over Or Through Models
A vehicle may move over or through friendly or enemy models only if those models are not engaged and their Resolve is lower than the vehicle's modified Shield, unless another rule explicitly states otherwise.
This movement exception does not allow the vehicle to move through or over engaged models unless another rule explicitly permits it.
No Melee Weapon
If a vehicle is engaged and has no melee weapons, its crew may defend the vehicle.
Choose whether the crew defends when melee weapons would be selected.
If the crew defends:
- Roll a number of dice equal to the vehicle's remaining HP as melee attacks.
- Attacks against the vehicle during that melee resolve against the vehicle's Resolve instead of its Shield.
- Damage from those attacks applies directly to the vehicle's HP.
Intervene
Vehicles may declare Intervene if they are within Intervene range and legally able to charge.
Vehicle Intervene uses the normal Intervene range unless another vehicle rule explicitly states otherwise.
