Special Rules
Call Of The Masters
Call of the Masters lets a unit resolve the command assigned during its normal activation twice. Both uses count as one command and normally use the same target.
How Call Of The Masters works
Call of the Masters is a Masters faction or named-unit special rule.
When this unit is assigned a command during its normal activation, it may use that assigned command twice.
This does not issue a second command. The unit is assigned one command, then resolves that command's effects twice as part of the same assigned command.
Resolve the first use of the command fully. Immediately after the first use is complete, resolve the second use of the same command.
If the assigned command has a target, both uses of the command must use the same target while that target remains legal. If that target is no longer legal for the second use, the second use cannot choose a different target unless another rule explicitly allows it.
Both uses are treated as part of the same command for command token, restriction, timing, and resolution purposes. Apply the command token and any restrictions from the assigned command once, not once per use, unless another rule explicitly states otherwise.
Only the first use of the assigned command creates the normal opportunity for the opposing player to declare a valid command in response. The second use does not create a responding-command window, including timing exceptions such as Defend or Covering Fire, unless another rule explicitly overrides Call of the Masters.
Call of the Masters does not remove existing restrictions, ignore command restrictions, or create a separate reaction mechanic.
Example
A unit or weapon with Call Of The Masters meets the rule's stated condition. Call of the Masters is a Masters faction or named-unit special rule. Once those steps are complete, play continues normally.
