Special Rules
Defensive
Defensive is a melee attack rule that generates additional attacks from enemy failed melee attack rolls.
Defensive is a melee attack rule that generates additional attacks from enemy failed melee attack rolls.
When a model uses a Defensive weapon or rule in melee, first roll that model's normal melee attack dice.
After the enemy's melee attack dice are rolled and enemy failed rolls against that model are known, roll 1 additional Defensive attack die for each of those failed enemy melee attack rolls.
Defensive-generated attacks resolve immediately as part of the same melee comparison.
Defensive-generated attacks do not generate additional Defensive attacks unless another rule explicitly states otherwise.
Ownership Note
Weapon Traits lists Defensive as a melee weapon trait and points here for the rule text.
