Table Setup

Follow the steps in the Setup section in ../setup/setup_rules.md.

After rolling off to decide who goes first, starting with the player going first, players alternate placing one token at a time until each player has placed three tokens within 12" of their table edge.

Tokens must be placed at least 6" apart from each other.

Unit Setup

Use standard Battle Formations from scenario_modules.md.

Special Rules

Hold The Line

At the end of the game, count all six objectives.

Players gain 1 Victory Point for each objective they control within 12" of their table edge.

They gain 2 Victory Points for each objective they control within 12" of their opponent's table edge.

Use Objective Control from scenario_modules.md for determining control unless this scenario is later approved to use different control requirements.

Reinforced Defenses

Use Reinforced Defenses from scenario_modules.md.

Victory Conditions

Outlast Your Enemy

At the end of Turn 5, the player with the most Victory Points wins.

Annihilation

Use Annihilation from scenario_modules.md.

Example

The players select Scenario 6: Citadel Clash for their battle. The players check the conditions in the expanded description, resolve each applicable instruction in order, and then continue the current game sequence.
