Table Setup

Follow the steps in the Setup section in ../setup/setup_rules.md.

After rolling off to decide who goes first, place five objective tokens on the battlefield.

Each player places one objective token within 12" of their table edge as their HQ objective.

The remaining objective tokens must be placed at least 12" from each player's table edge and 6" from any other objective token.

Unit Setup

Use standard Battle Formations from scenario_modules.md.

Special Rules

Objectives

Starting on Turn 1, at the end of each turn, each player gains 1 Victory Point for each objective they control.

Use Objective Control from scenario_modules.md.

HQ Objective

At the scenario end step at the end of the full turn, check each player's HQ objective.

If an enemy unit is within 6" of your HQ objective at that timing, you lose 3 Victory Points.

This can reduce a player's Victory Points below 0.

Victory Conditions

Outlast Your Enemy

At the end of Turn 3, the player with the most Victory Points wins.

Use Annihilation from scenario_modules.md.

Cleanup Notes

Pending individual scenario approval:

• Whether the remaining three non-HQ token placements are alternate placement or shared agreement.

Example

The players select Scenario 5: War-Zone for their battle. The players check the conditions in the expanded description, resolve each applicable instruction in order, and then continue the current game sequence.

Does Scenario 5: War-Zone override another rule?

Only where Scenario 5: War-Zone or a more specific rule explicitly creates an exception. Otherwise, follow the normal core rules.
