Core Rule
A model has line of sight to a target if it can draw a valid unobstructed line to the target according to the normal visibility rules.
Visibility
- A model is visible if it is not fully obscured according to the terrain and battlefield rules.
- A target must be visible where a rule requires line of sight.
Obstruction
- Terrain, models, or effects may block line of sight where the relevant battlefield rules state so.
- If line of sight is blocked, the target is not visible for rules that require visibility.
Notes
- This file defines visibility and line of sight only.
- Shooting and other attack rules may require line of sight, but do not define it.
- Engagement is defined in
core/general/engagement.md.
