Some vehicle facings or systems use additional rules.
Shunt Field
When making Target Lock rolls against a vehicle with Shunt Field, use the attacking weapon's Force instead of the attacker's Resolve as the Target Lock attribute.
Shunt Field does not affect movement Shunt, Cover, Overrun, damage, Shield, range, Line of Sight, or Target Limit unless another rule explicitly states otherwise.
Secondary Shielding
Secondary Shielding is a vehicle special rule.
When resolving vehicle damage against a vehicle with Secondary Shielding, roll 1D3 + Force instead of 1D6 + Force.
If Critical Damage would be applied to a vehicle with Secondary Shielding, resolve vehicle damage and treat the vehicle damage die as its maximum result: 3 + Force.
Secondary Shielding changes the vehicle damage die only. It does not change Target Lock, Shield, HP, system damage results, Field of Fire, or Target Limit unless another rule explicitly states otherwise.
Burst Barrier
Burst Barrier is a face-level rule.
If the face with Burst Barrier is targeted by an attack, roll 1D6 before Target Lock is resolved for that attack.
Only Target Lock rolls equal to or below the Burst Barrier result succeed against that face for that attack.
