Declaration Trigger
Rally may be declared during a unit's normal command window.
Rally cannot be declared as a responding command unless another rule explicitly states otherwise.
Resolution Timing
Rally resolves using the normal command timing rules.
Targeting
Rally does not require a target.
It affects the declaring unit.
Resolution
When Rally resolves:
- Roll one Resolve test per missing model in the unit.
- Each successful Resolve test restores one eligible model.
- Place each restored model within 2 inches of a surviving model in the unit.
- Restored models return with full HP.
- If no legal placement exists for a restored model, that model is not restored.
Restrictions Applied
After Rally resolves, apply:
- Shoot
- Run
- Defend
Cannot Be Declared If
Rally cannot be declared if:
- the unit already has any restriction this command applies
- the unit is within 1 inch of an enemy model
- the unit is otherwise ineligible to perform Rally under its own rules
Notes
- Rally is a declared command, not an automatic recovery effect.
- Rally may be declared anywhere on the battlefield, provided the unit is otherwise eligible.
- Rally does not require the unit to be within 2 inches of its controlling player's table edge.
- Rally does not redefine damage, restoration, or placement systems beyond the command-specific steps listed here.
- You cannot restore more models than the unit originally contained.
