General Rules
Terms
Some words have a consistent meaning throughout VoidSiege. Friendly models belong to the same player, enemy models belong to an opposing player, and the controlling player is the person currently making decisions for a model, unit, effect, or action.
Friendly
A friendly model or unit is controlled by the same player as the model, unit, effect, or action being considered.
Enemy
An enemy model or unit is controlled by an opposing player.
Controlling player
The controlling player is the player currently controlling the model, unit, effect, or action in question.
These terms describe relationships between players and game pieces. Any gameplay effect associated with them is explained by the rule that uses the term.
Example
A player controls Unit A and Unit B, so those units are friendly to each other. A unit controlled by the opposing player is an enemy to both. If Unit A creates an effect that requires its controlling player to make a choice, the player controlling Unit A makes that choice.
