Core Rule

A model is visible if it is not completely obscured by terrain, models, or another rule-defined obstruction.

Visibility And Line Of Sight

Visibility is used when determining whether line of sight can be drawn.

If a model is completely obscured, it is not visible for rules that require visibility.

If a rule requires line of sight, use core/general/line_of_sight.md.

Model Visibility

Visibility is checked from model to model unless a rule states otherwise.

A unit may contain both visible and non-visible models.

Only models that are visible and otherwise legal may be selected or affected where visibility is required.

Notes

  • This file defines visibility only.
  • Line of sight is defined in core/general/line_of_sight.md.
  • Shooting target legality is defined in core/shooting.md.
