Modifiers

Description

Modifiers change gameplay values.

They are applied after base values are determined unless a rule specifically says otherwise.

Expanded Description

Modifiers can affect different gameplay values, including:

  • Dice rolls
  • Movement
  • Resolve
  • Damage
  • Range
  • Target Lock results

If multiple modifiers apply, resolve all of them before determining the final result unless a rule specifically says otherwise.

A modifier cannot change a rule that explicitly cannot be modified unless another rule specifically allows it.

Example

A rule gives +1 to damage.

The base damage value is determined first.

The +1 modifier is then applied.

If the original damage value was 2, the final damage result becomes 3.
