Dispersion

Dispersion weapons use the dispersion template. After declaring the target, place the template over the unit. The template must remain wholly within the range of the weapon and the smallest end should not be further from the firer than the large end. The RoF of a Dispersion weapon does not indicate the number of shots but instead the total number of target locks. Roll dice equal to the Force value for each target lock and assign damage starting from the models in the smallest part of the template.

Example: A Dispersion weapon with Force 4 targets a unit. Roll 4 dice for target locks, and assign any damage caused to the model in the smallest part of the template and proceeding outward.
