Ditch

DITCH is a hybrid command that allows movement while still gaining a temporary Resolve bonus and Critical Damage immunity.


Move up to the unit’s full Move value.

After movement, gain +1 Resolve against the next instance of incoming damage.

All Critical Damage is negated during that instance.

Ditch Use Case:

You need to reposition defensively but expect fire immediately via Snap shot

You want to bait Snap Fire before declaring a Charge

You’re in an exposed position and need survivability

Interaction with Other Rules:


Snap Fire may target a unit that used Ditch. The Resolve bonus and Critical immunity still apply.

Grievous Damage is still rolled—but Defend may prevent the auto-damage trigger by increasing Resolve above Force.
