Further Combat
Description
After a command has fully resolved, check the battlefield for opposing models within 1 inch or otherwise legally engaged.
If any eligible close combat or melee interactions exist, resolve them immediately unless another rule specifically says otherwise.
Expanded Description
Further combat is the ongoing melee check that happens after command resolution.
This check is global. It does not only apply to the unit that just resolved a command.
Existing melees can resolve again after each command if opposing models remain within 1 inch or are otherwise legally engaged.
If multiple separate combats are eligible, resolve them separately, one after another.
When eligible melees must be resolved, continue resolving them until all eligible melees have been completed.
Melee can happen multiple times in the same turn if repeated command resolutions leave opposing models within 1 inch or otherwise legally engaged.
Example
Two enemy units are already engaged in melee.
A different unit elsewhere on the battlefield resolves a command.
After that command has fully resolved, the battlefield is checked for melee.
Because the two enemy units are still within 1 inch, their melee is eligible to resolve again.
The melee is resolved immediately before play continues.
